Consumer Price Index May 2024. India consumer price index (cpi) growth was measured at 3.5 % yoy in jul 2024, compared with a rate of 5.1 % in the previous month. Among them, the price in urban areas increased by 0.6 percent.

The monthly cpi indicator rose 3.5% in the 12 months to july, down from a 3.8% rise in the 12 months to june. This 2.6% increase is the same level of inflation that was recorded in april 2024.
